Leadership meeting with representatives of Sakhalin Energy on labor protection and environmental issues was held at SVAROG branch in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

On 18 March 2021 a business meeting for managers and specialists in labor and environmental protection of SVAROG and Sakhalin Energy was held at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk office of the company. The purpose of Sakhalin Energy's leadership visit to SVAROG was to discuss current issues and challenges in the field of labor and environmental protection, as well as experience and information sharing.
During the meeting, the representatives of the companies discussed the importance of increasing the intensity of work on awareness of personnel in labor and environmental protection, issues of legislative reforms, the necessity of active monitoring of these reforms and their timely implementation in the companies’ activities, and increased industrial safety requirements.
The representatives of the companies shared their experience.  In particular, Sakhalin Energy introduced the achievements of the Commercial Directorate in the field of continuous improvement based on both summary statistics and specific examples of implemented initiatives. SVAROG presented the results of a recent survey of personnel in labor and environmental protection and growth dynamics of this indicator. Sakhalin Energy highlighted the responsible attitude of SVAROG’s top managers in labor and environmental protection, their involvement and active position in ensuring employees’ safety and positive climate in relations between SVAROG and Sakhalin employees and Sakhalin Energy representatives at the Sakhalin-2 assets.
At the end of the meeting the representatives of the companies thanked each other for the open, active and productive conversation and responsible approach to the safety of personnel.
